What you will do

• Edit raw video footage, including trimming, sequencing, and enhancing clips to create a cohesive and visually appealing final product.
• Incorporate visual effects, graphics, and animations to enhance videos.
• Utilize storytelling techniques to convey the intended message and evoke desired emotions.
• Collaborate with the creative team and clients to understand project objectives, requirements, and brand guidelines.
• Provide creative input and contribute innovative ideas to enhance video content.
• Ensure smooth and efficient video post-production workflow, including organizing and managing video files, maintaining an organized asset library, and adhering to project timelines.
• Continuously stay updated on the latest video editing techniques, software, and industry trends.
• Monitor and maintain the quality and consistency of video content across different platforms and formats.
• Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize video production processes.

Requirements

• Proven work experience (2-4 years) as a Video Editor or a similar role.
• Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or other relevant editing tools.
• Strong understanding of video editing techniques, including pacing, timing, and storytelling.
• Proficient in incorporating visual effects, graphics, and animations into videos.
• Familiarity with color grading and audio editing.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with the creative team and clients.
• A creative mindset and a keen eye for aesthetics and visual storytelling.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in film production, video editing, multimedia, or a related field. Not required but helpful.
